You're My Universe

My 6 year old daughter is OBSESSED with space. She wants to be an astronaut more than anything!  So today I came up with a cute card to give her on Valentine's Day! I love the Space Cadet stamp set from Paper Smooches!  It is so adorable,  and can be used for lots of different cards and layouts!  I colored the images with my copics and finished it off with Glitter paper! (What little girl wouldn't love that!?)

Fun with alphas!

Today I used the Paper Smooches Alphawhimsey die to create this simple and fun Valentine's Day card. It came together really cute in the end, I think. I got the inspiration from a pile of leftover letters sitting on my craft table after I finished with another card! It's crazy how scraps can turn into something do cute!

Scooting by...

Today I used this adorable scooter stamp from Paper Smooches (Spiffy Scooters) to make a little hello card for a friend.  I loved coloring it with my copics and I actually find it to be a stress reliever! My son, who is 2, carried the card around all afternoon because he loved the scooter so much too!

Valentines Advent Calender

I love making Advent calendars.  I make one for every holiday or season.  This week I just finished up my "Love Note" Advent for Valentine's Day!  Each heart has a love note or valentine's related activity on the back of it. During February my kids will take turns turning over a card then we'll do that activity that day! Some of the things on the cards are crafts, reading a valentine's book together, and getting a jamba juice! It's one of our very favorite traditions.
I made my cards and banner with my silhouette and stamped the images on them with my Paper Smooches stamp sets (Love Struck, Sweet Hearts, Needle Little Love,  Hang Ups, Great Chemistry and Word Salad, ) You can check out these stamp sets and more Here. Then finished up by coloring them with my copic markers. (LOVE THEM!) A very fun process!
I absolutely love this project.  I think it turned out perfect!  I love the colors and images! It is a great addition to my holiday decor!

Watercoloring with Paper Smooches

Today I created a card using the beautiful blossoming buds stamp set from Paper Smooches.  I love this set! I also used some watercolors that I dug out of my storage room that were my grandmother's years and years and years ago! But they worked perfectly,  and it was a technique I've been wanting to try! (As you may recall,  I used my copics last week to faux watercolor another card!) I will say.... Real watercolor takes more time, but the results are stunning!

Crystal clear

Today I used the Paper Smooches Stamps called Crystal clear to create a simple card for my step mom, who is having surgery this week. And check it out.... I tried a new  "watercolor" technique with my copic markers on this card!  I love how it looks with this technique and I can't wait to perfect it with practice!
I am also working on a valentine's day project that I am super excited and I can't wait to show you! Stay tuned next week!

Paper Smooches Project Life Layout

I used my Paper Smooches stamp set called Halloweenies to make a project life scrapbooking layout this week.  I'm trying to get caught up on the last year, and I thought it would be fun to create my own cards with my project life stamps and my copic markers! I love the way it came together in something totally unique!

Something New

Today I used my Paper Smooches Stamp sets to create something OTHER than a card!  I made the a project life style 4x6 title card for my son's birthday party layout. The theme of his party was "cars" and I used this same car stamp on his invitations!  For this title card I used Paper Smooches sets "My Guy," "Cuteasaurus," and "Alphadot." I also used Paper Smooches "clouds" dies for some pop. It was fun to create and I see myself using my paper smooches sets and copics for my project life layouts much more!
